became angry when He cleared the temple."
The temple of God
was filled with the day’s equivalent of money-grabbing
televangelists. Jesus called it a "den of thieves"
(v. 17), because the moneychangers were not interested
in God but in taking financial advantage of those who
came to worship. Anger at hypocrisy isn’t a sin—it’s
a virtue.
